HENOSIS @ Benin Republic: A Mission of Healing and Hope

Benin grapples with severe health issues, including: 

– Malaria: Responsible for 11,154 deaths in 2021, malaria remains a leading cause of mortality in the region. 

– Tuberculosis: With 53 cases per 100,000 people, this infectious disease poses a significant public health threat. 

– HIV/AIDS: While 85% of those affected are aware of their status and 79% achieve viral suppression, many still lack access to comprehensive care. 

Additionally, widespread malnutrition affects 83% of the population’s access to a healthy diet, with one-third of children under five experiencing stunting. These challenges underscore the critical need for immediate and effective healthcare interventions. 

Our Comprehensive Medical Mission 

In response to these urgent needs, Henosis International is launching a comprehensive medical mission to Benin Republic, focusing on two key objectives:
